This is our table also next to it is our shelf we get too, however you can't see that fully.  Check out the chairs though...aren't they beautiful?! We'll be putting a table cloth on too! So excited though...can't beat free!

Furniture

So this past weekend Paul and I came into a few different items for our apartment.  First we picked up a very stylish glass table with brass looking legs and orangish/brown comfy seats.  We are very excited about this.  I will post a picture soon.  My (Katie) co-worker's grandmother in law is downsizing her belongings, and so she offered us the table.  We were a little skeptical at first, but they ended up not being so bad.  It will fit nicely in Pauls garage for now, but be even better in our future apartment.  Secondly we my (Katie) Aunt Diane gave us some of their couches to have.  So that includes a full couch and a love seat.  They are blue, red and green plaidish colored, and will look great with our table and chairs! ha ha.  (I am just kidding, but we'll take what we can get!) I'll post some pictures of our findings soon, I need to figure out how to upload some pictures.  Anyway we are really excited!!  That's all for now.  We are staying warm inside tonight because there is a BLIZZARD outside....

Starting Blog

So I have a lot of friends that do this blog thing and theirs always looks fun.  Thought I would give it a try and see how much a I like it.  So right now I will probably just write about wedding plans and different things Paul and I are doing.  Kinda weird that I made a blog called Katie and Paul, as if we are married already.  Kinda fun pretending though. 
We recently just got our engagement pictures back that we took about 2 weeks ago, and our photographer Jen Gibson did an awesome job!  I could hardly wait to see them and then I was very well pleased.  I want to show you all of them, but that would kind of defeat the purpose of the "wedding announcement."  So sorry you are all going to have to wait. (or you could see a few on our photographers blog: jengibsonphotography.com)  Check out some of her other pictures too... she does an amazing job!  Anyway, I think thats all I will write for now, until I can figure this whole thing out!
